Description

American Traveler is hiring a Sonographer with 2+ years of experience in both general and vascular ultrasound for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring ARDMS and RVT certification.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in an ultrasound unit
• Requires both general and vascular ultrasound experience
• 12-hour day shifts, either 6:30 AM–7:00 PM or 8:00 AM–8:30 PM
• Rotation of weekends, call, and holidays required
• Epic EMR used in this position
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience, including both general and vascular ultrasound
• ARDMS certification required
• RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) via ARDMS required
• BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• Driver's license copy required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration (1 supervisor, 1 peer or additional supervisor)

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Any background hits must be disclosed upfront
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from this WVU facility to be eligible
• Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before returning
• Travelers may not work within the WVU system for more than one cumulative year without a 2-year break
