Position SummaryThe Senior Application Developer will support the design, development, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise applications for the M&O Services for DSS Application Systems project. This position requires strong experience with Microsoft .NET technologies, Angular, modern web development frameworks, database technologies, cloud platforms, and DevOps tools.
The Senior Application Developer will collaborate with technical teams, business analysts, architects, and other project stakeholders to develop scalable, maintainable, and high-quality application solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, implement, enhance, and maintain enterprise web applications.
Develop application solutions using Angular 8+, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API, C#, Entity Framework Core, and Microsoft SQL Server .
Apply SOLID design principles and established software engineering practices when designing and developing .NET and Angular applications.
Develop responsive and maintainable front-end components using AngularJS, Angular 8+, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, React, and/or comparable component-based technologies .
Design, develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and application services.
Develop and maintain data access functionality using Entity Framework Core and Microsoft SQL Server .
Translate functional and technical requirements into scalable application designs and software solutions.
Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions.
Develop reusable, maintainable, and testable application components.
Perform application troubleshooting, debugging, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to established coding, architecture, security, and quality standards.
Support application integration, testing, deployment, and production maintenance activities.
Utilize AWS technologies to support cloud-based application environments and services.
Work with DevOps tools and processes, including Octopus Deploy and Jenkins , to support continuous integration and deployment.
Utilize Azure DevOps for source control, work tracking, build and release processes, and development lifecycle management.
Collaborate with developers, solution architects, business analysts, testers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
