Warehouse/Distribution: FT Order Filler/Associate/Fulfillment

Warehouse Order PickerLocation: Concord, NCHourly Rate: $18.35/hr up to $22.10/hr after 12 monthsStandard Work Hours: 1:00pm - 9:30pm or 3:00pm - 11:30pmEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.Pull all orders for the customer according to the prescribed picking quota as set by management.Pull means - to go to the shelf where the product is located; identify the proper product and quantity, pull the product, and transport the product to the checking station.Basic navigation on the computer is requiredUse of voice picking and RF scanning equipment is requiredAdherence to the Stockroom Housekeeping Policy of facility and specific product line area is required.Accuracy in repetitive routine is very important while maintaining good speed.Follow and adhere to all safety rules including the handling of hazardous materials.QualificationsMust be functionally literate and capable of understanding and recognizing product numbers and line codes to insure proper retrieval of products for shipment, including identifying sequence of numbers and letters accurately and rapidly.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write legibly. The ability to successfully communicate with the voice picking system. Adapt to understanding the voice system's commands, as well as adapting your speech so that the voice system can understand your input.Math AbilityAbility to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
