Diagnostic District Sales Manager

As a Diagnostic District Sales Manager, you will lead a high‑performing, field‑based team responsible for driving the success of our clients' laboratory diagnostic tests across the sales organization. In this role, you’ll partner with a healthcare company focused on commercializing early cancer detection tests to expand market presence, influence clinical decision‑making, and deliver meaningful impact for providers, health systems, and patients. Reporting to the National Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in hiring, training, coaching, and developing a team equipped to succeed in complex, consultative diagnostic selling environments. In this role, you will be an integral part of a sales team developing and managing an assigned territory. You will have the opportunity to hire, train, and develop, as well as coach to success the sales team in their district to successfully promote product‑targeted physicians. Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and develop a highly performing diagnostic sales team, strengthening individual capabilities and elevating overall performance Develop and implement comprehensive business plans that support organizational sales and revenue objectives Ensure consistent execution of call plans by monitoring district performance against key metrics and driving accountability across the team Ensure administrative project activities are accurate, timely, and compliant Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree is preferred 10+ years of commercial pharmaceutical experience with a strong record of performance 3+ years of experience as a district or regional first‑line sales manager Experience in one or more of the following preferred: laboratory diagnostics or medical device Gastroenterology experience is highly preferred Demonstrated history of consistent sales success and achievement of performance goals Ability to meet travel expectations, including approximately 70% field time and additional overnight or weekend travel as needed Desired Requirements Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent organizational skills, especially in project planning, implementation, and change management Ability to multi‑task and maintain prioritization of key projects and deadlines Ability to meet travel demands Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Syneos Health companies are affirmative action/equal opportunity employers (Minorities/Females/Veterans/Disabled).
