Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical Stroke Stepdown

Schedule:
- Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:
- Two or more years of experience in medical-surgical nursing with stroke stepdown experience
- Travel experience required
- Current AHA BLS certification
- NIHSS certification (can be obtained prior to start)
- Active nursing license in New York and all active RN licenses
- Skills checklist matching specialty
- Drivers license with address matching demographics
- EMR Experience: EPIC

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide care for adult patients recovering from strokes and other complex medical conditions
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and recovery
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Compliance / Notes:
- RTO must be included at the time of submission
- Scrub color: Navy Blue
- Floating may be required
