Local Contract Nurse RN - Occupational Health - $40-45 per hour

Job Description LanceSoft is seeking a local contract nurse RN Occupational Health for a local contract nursing job in Round Lake, Illinois. Seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse (RN) to support employee health, safety, and wellness initiatives within a high-volume 24/7 manufacturing environment. The Occupational Health Nurse will serve as a key business partner in maintaining workforce health compliance, managing workplace injuries and illnesses, and promoting employee wellness programs. Shift: 2PM to 10:30PM or 3PM to 11:30PM, Monday thru Friday Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Occupational Health Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 52 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, evenings Employment Type: Local Contract Responsibilities Provide immediate care for employee illness and injury cases Conduct medical triage and injury/illness intake assessments Maintain occupational health surveillance compliance programs Perform and coordinate medical surveillance activities including: Audiometric Testing Eye Exams Respirator Fit Testing Physical Examinations Blood Work Collection Manage case management activities and return-to-work coordination Promote employee wellness and general health education initiatives Ensure compliance with OSHA, corporate, labor, and regulatory requirements Document and maintain accurate employee health records Collaborate with EHS leadership and occupational health stakeholders Travel between buildings within the facility as needed Required Qualifications Active Illinois RN License required Must have Occupational Health Nurse experience to be considered Strong Medical Triage experience Experience with Medical Surveillance programs Case Management experience Excellent communication and soft skills Strong computer proficiency and Microsoft Office experience Preferred Qualifications Experience with Benchmark (Medcare) systems Public health or manufacturing health environment experienceExperience supporting wellness initiatives and employee education programs Work Environment Fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing facility Drug Delivery Manufacturing environment including Non-Ceph, Ceph, Penicillin, and other assigned production areas Local candidates preferred Reporting Structure Reports directly to Onsite EHS Associate Director Dotted-line reporting to Global Occupational Nurse Active member of onsite EHS team Benefits Weekly pay Medical benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr LanceSoft, Inc.
