Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for a Maintenance Manager for our client’s operation near Martinsburg, WV. This is a direct hire position with competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all maintenance operations for extrusion lines, processing, recycling systems, and thermoforming machines.
• Ensure maximum equipment uptime through effective preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation issues.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies aligned with 24/7 operations.
• Lead, coach and develop a maintenance team consisting of Maintenance Technicians, Mold Technicians, and Preventative Maintenance (PM) Technician.
• Establish clear expectations, schedules, and performance standards for the maintenance team.
• Support on-call and off-shift coverage to ensure continuous operations.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in startup operations, equipment installations, line expansions, and capacity increases.
• Support commissioning, debugging, and ramp-up of new equipment and processes.
• Help build and standardize maintenance system, documentation, spare parts programs, and work order processes suitable for a growing operation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation, and equipment histories.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or extensive hands-on maintenance leadership experience
• Experience with extrusion processes and thermoforming equipment preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Bilingual is a plus
