Telluride – The Madeline The Ski Valet Supervisor shift delivers equipment to ski‑in/ski‑out Hotel Madeline guests, offers support service, and checks equipment in and out during guests’ stay. The role is based in the Hotel Madeline Valet located at the top of the Chondola on Telluride Resort Mountain Village, working closely with the hotel team. Role Overview The Supervisor leads a team of Ski Technicians/Valet Technicians, plans shifts, ensures quality equipment, answers guest questions, and grows the business, sharing in its success. Ownership, self‑motivation, and a drive to succeed are required. The Shifts Full‑time: 5 shifts per week (7 am – 5 pm or 8 am – close) with a 2‑hour ski break; minimum 32 hours per week. Start date: November 20, 2023. Part‑time: 4 shifts per week (7 am – close) with a 2‑hour ski break. Schedule allows skiing/riding any day you want. Compensation Base wage: $25 per hour for full‑time and part‑time. Receive a ski pass on the start date. 401(k) benefit and match for all staff members over 21 years old. Primary Responsibilities Deliver ski/snowboard rentals and accessories to guests’ accommodations, emphasizing Key Customer Requirements: on time, correct equipment, clear communication. Check equipment in and out of the valet, working directly with the hotel front desk. Provide equipment support to customers and fellow ski technicians. Pick up equipment after guests’ last ski/snowboard day. Stage orders for future deliveries. Perform basic ski tuning, waxing, and general maintenance.
