Clinical Manager – Assistive Care State Programs | Jersey City, NJBAYADA HOME HEALTH CARE is seeking a full-time Clinical Manager for our Jersey City Assistive Care State Programs office in Jersey City, NJ. This role supports clients receiving state-funded home care services throughout the local community.Our Assistive Care services help clients safely remain at home by providing personal care, companionship, and support with activities of daily living (ADLs). As Clinical Manager, you will lead caregivers and field staff, support client and family relationships, and help ensure services are delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability.This is a highly visible leadership role at the center of client experience and caregiver engagement. You'll partner closely with the office team to manage changing priorities, support service quality, address client and staffing concerns, and help the office continue serving more people in need of care.Lead, mentor, and support a team of caregivers, including HHAs and CNAs, and other field staffOversee client services, including onboarding, care plan development, service coordination, and ongoing delivery of careConduct client assessments, supervisory visits, service check-ins, and occasional field visitsBuild strong, trusting relationships with clients and familiesRespond to and resolve client, family, caregiver, and staffing concerns with professionalism and urgencyPartner with scheduling and office leadership to support staffing, coverage, and reliable service deliveryEnsure services align with client needs, care plans, BAYADA policies, state regulations, and documentation standardsReview service quality and follow up on incidents, complaints, missed services, and performance concernsSupport caregiver engagement, accountability, coaching, and performance developmentParticipate in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and orientation of field employeesCollaborate with referral sources, families, caregivers, and internal teams to promote client satisfactionSupport quality assurance and performance improvement initiativesHelp maintain accurate client and employee records and timely documentationContribute to office growth through excellent service, strong relationships, and a positive reputation in the communityModel The BAYADA Way and foster a respectful, team-oriented, mission-driven cultureParticipate in the on-call rotation as neededBachelor's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience; or an associate degree with at least 3 years of relevant experienceExperience in healthcare, home care, human services, case management, or service operationsPrior leadership or supervisory experience in healthcare, human services, or a service-based environmentStrong organizational, communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced office and field environmentComfort using computer systems for documentation, communication, scheduling, and reportingCommitment to BAYADA's mission and The BAYADA Way of compassion, excellence, and reliabilityExperience in Assistive Care, personal care, private duty, or home care servicesExperience working with Medicaid, state-funded, or state waiver programsExperience managing caregivers, scheduling services, or coordinating field staffExperience with client assessments, care plans, service authorizations, or quality assuranceKnowledge of local community resources and service providersFluency in Spanish and the ability to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking clients, families, and caregiversLead a mission-driven service line that helps clients remain safely and comfortably at homeMake a meaningful impact for clients, families, and caregivers in your communityJoin a supportive, values-based nonprofit organizationBuild relationships with clients, families, referral sources, and field employeesAccess ongoing training, mentorship, and career growth opportunitiesWork alongside a collaborative office team that values compassion, accountability, and excellenceEnjoy PTO and a comprehensive benefits packageGrow your career as a Clinical Manager within BAYADA's Assistive Care State Programs practiceBAYADA HOME HEALTH CARE offers a comprehensive benefits plan designed to support employees with health plan options, flexibility, and long-term financial security.
