Cardiovascular Technologist - Cath Lab Full Time Day

Description Cardiovascular Technologist - Cath Lab Providence Saint John’s Health Center, Santa Monica, CA. Full-time, 12-hour day shifts. Work under the supervision of the Cath Lab Manager, Cardiologist, Electrophysiologist, Vascular surgeon, and Radiologist. Operate cardiovascular, peripheral, endovascular and neurological systems; perform all phases of cardiac, peripheral, vascular and neuro-interventional procedures in accordance with scope and standards of practice. Responsibilities Operate and maintain imaging and monitoring equipment during cardiac catheterization procedures; ensure patient safety and compliance with clinical protocols; collaborate with interventional team; document findings and procedure details; support patient care throughout procedure. Required Qualifications Completion of EKG technical training. Certification for Registry Credentials. Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International, or National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or National Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography, or National Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. 1 year patient contact in a hospital setting. 6 months direct patient care. Note: If preferred training/experience is not in place upon hire, 6‑month on-the-job training applies. Preferred Qualifications Neuro Interventional training. Hospital experience. 6 months Interventional Radiology experience. 6 months electrophysiology study experience. 6 months neurological interventional procedure experience. Compensation Base pay range: $50.08 – $72.08 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
