Optical Lab Technician

Job Description Job Description The Optical Lab Technician plays a key role in the fabrication and quality control of eyeglass lenses. This individual is responsible for lens edging and mounting, as well as, frame repairs and adjustments to ensure the highest standards are met. By interacting with patients and other team members, the technician supports seamless lab operations and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Fabricate eyeglass lenses according to specifications Perform quality control inspections on finished lenses Mount lenses accurately into frames Repair and adjust eyeglass frames as needed Order lenses from wholesale labs Interact with patients to address lens and frame issues Preferred Qualifications 3+ years experience in optical lab work Proficient in lens edging and mounting Strong attention to detail Effective communication skills Good time management abilities Skilled in troubleshooting lens and frame issues Experienced in frame repairs Company Description We are a multi-doctor optometry practice with an optical dispensary located in Pascagoula, Mississippi.
