What You Will Do: Lead design and coordination of roadway, drainage, and utility projects for our public and private clients Collaborate with other groups/disciplines within the company to deliver top quality projects and unparalleled service to our clients Perform design calculations, quantity and cost estimates, and plan preparation Compile, write, and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos and specifications for projects Assist with proposals, project budgets and schedules, planning activities, and public involvement and other presentation opportunities Oversee and manage the work of EITs or Technicians Provide guidance and training to EITs Review design plans prepared by internal staff and/or subconsultants Prepare meeting notes, project documentation and Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to ensure that projects are delivered within prescribed time frames and budgets Regular communication with the client, subconsultant and internal staff to meet project requirements and timeline What You Will Bring: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school 5-10 years of experience in Transportation / Municipal engineering TX PE license or the ability to obtain their license within six months Valid driver's license with a good driving record Prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents Strong experience with Open Roads Modeling Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this position Ability to work 40 hours a week Ability to work in McKinney, TX Work is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment, occasional travel or field visits may be required to support Full time WSB employees qualify for competitive compensation and benefits package, including medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, company paid short- and long-term disability, 401K with match, paid time off, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
