Setting: Inpatient Hospital / Acute Care Trauma
Schedule: 13-hour shifts | 6:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Opportunity Highlights

• Ongoing Acute Care Trauma coverage
• Level II Trauma Center
• 24-hour call structure with 12 hours primary + 12 hours backup
• No call requires the physician to be in-house
• 20-minute pager response requirement
• One APP available for inpatient rounding
• Weekly coverage blocks available throughout 2027
• Expected schedule: 7 × 13-hour shifts / 91 hours per week

Requirements

• Board Certified in General Surgery – Required
• Surgical Critical Care – Preferred
• Experience appropriate for a Level II Trauma Center

Coverage

Multiple weekly blocks are available from January 2027 through January 2028 .
