HVAC Service Technician

HVAC Service TechnicianChesapeake Controls Inc. (CCI) is looking for an HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a skilled technician who takes pride in troubleshooting complex systems, delivering excellent customer service, and completing high-quality work. Experience with refrigeration a plus!Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipmentPerform preventive maintenance and equipment inspectionsClearly communicate findings and repair recommendations to customersComplete service documentation accurately and promptlyParticipate in the rotating on-call scheduleFollow all company safety policies and proceduresCoordinate with customers, supervisors, and other team membersIdentify additional repair, replacement, and improvement opportunitiesProvide technical guidance and mentoring to junior technicians.Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseMinimum 3-5 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician.Strong understanding of hydronic systems, pumps and controlsEPA certification required.HVAC certification or diploma from an accredited program preferred.Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Valid driver's license and clean driving recordExperience with refrigeration a plus!BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid-time off and professional development opportunities.About Chesapeake ControlsFounded in 1985, Chesapeake Controls, Inc. is a family owned, full service Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) provider to the commercial market Hampton Roads and surrounding areas.
