Position Overview:

 

The Paralegal position is based in our St. Petersburg office and provides comprehensive litigation and discovery support to attorneys within the First Party Property Damage practice group. This role is responsible for managing subpoenas and overseeing the discovery workflow, reviewing and analyzing medical records, and identifying key facts, including prior injuries and related claims. The Paralegal also coordinates with medical providers, vendors, and expert witnesses to support case development.

This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced defense litigation environment.

 

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

 

· College Degree Required or have a paralegal certification

· Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Property Damage Cases

· Prior Experience in insurance defense a plus

· Be able to work independently but also work collaboratively

· Strong writing and oral communication skills

· Excellent research and analytical abilities

· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

· Experience with entering billable hours preferred, but not required
