Overview Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Opportunity at The Pines of Dekalb! Full-time day shift and part-time night shift available. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) , you will have the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships by learning about the life stories of our residents and staff. Each day, our nurses utilize their nursing skills to promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of the residents, leading to a rewarding sense of fulfillment and satisfaction. Responsibilities Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with current regulations and facility policies. Support residents and families with compassionate, person-centered care planning. Collaborate with the care team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care. Uphold high standards of professional conduct and teamwork. Skills Needed Supportive presence: Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents. Leadership: Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs. Collaboration: Work with nursing and other facility teams to ensure coordinated care. Teamwork: Ability to work toward a common goal of excellent care for residents. Interpersonal communication: Support a respectful and positive work environment. Requirements Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana. Proficient medication management skills. Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition. Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
