Sales Executive (Remote)

Location: Remote (U.S.) Compensation: Base + uncapped commission Type: Full-Time About the Opportunity Our client is a high-growth financial technology company helping financial institutions improve the way they manage, validate, and utilize critical business data. Their solutions support organizations across banking, asset management, insurance, and broader financial services by streamlining reporting processes, increasing operational efficiency, and improving data accuracy and transparency. The company is investing heavily in expanding its commercial organization and is seeking an ambitious Account Executive to help drive the next phase of growth. While the immediate need is for one hire, the team is open to bringing on multiple candidates if they identify exceptional talent. The Role This is an opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys developing new business, building relationships, and closing deals in a fast-paced environment. The company has already established a strong marketing function and active sales pipeline, allowing new hires to focus on both converting inbound interest and driving outbound business development efforts. You will work closely with leadership and play a key role in scaling revenue while helping shape the future of the sales organization. Responsibilities Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers Manage opportunities from prospecting through contract execution Conduct discovery meetings to understand client needs and business challenges Coordinate and participate in product demonstrations and solution discussions Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline Accurately track activity and opportunities within CRM tools Consistently achieve and exceed sales goals Contribute to the development of processes and best practices as the sales team grows Ideal Background Approximately 5-7 years of B2B sales experience, with flexibility for exceptional candidates Experience selling fintech, financial technology, SaaS, data, analytics, workflow, or related solutions Strong preference for candidates who have sold into financial institutions, retail banks, asset managers, hedge funds, private markets firms, insurance companies, or other financial services organizations Experience working with buy-side firms, fund administrators, investment operations teams, capital markets participants, or financial data platforms is highly desirable Existing industry relationships and the ability to quickly identify and engage target accounts Demonstrated success generating pipeline and closing new business opportunities Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to help build and scale a growing sales organization Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Comfortable operating in a high-growth, evolving environment Startup or growth-stage company experience is a plus Compensation & Incentives Competitive base salary of approximately $150,000 Target earnings of approximately $300,000 Uncapped commission structure Opportunity to earn on both software subscriptions and professional services engagements Recurring revenue component creates long-term earning potential Why Consider This Opportunity?
