Medical Director of Urgent Care & Occupational Health

Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS), an independent, nonprofit, physician-led health system and member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, is seeking a physician to serve as Medical Director of Urgent Care & Occupational Health in Findlay, Northwest Ohio. This role involves split responsibilities, dedicating 80% to clinical practice across Urgent Care and Occupational Health and 20% to administrative leadership duties. Practice Info Urgent Care (Physicians Plus) Occupational Health (Well at Work) Responsibilities Provide urgent care services for acute illnesses and injuries Deliver occupational medicine services Develop and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and protocols Oversee quality initiatives and OPPE processes Collaborate with and support Advanced Practice Providers Train and onboard new providers Partner with operational leaders to advance service line goals Compensation $300,000 base salary (includes vacation and CME) $100,000 signing bonus ($50,000 in Year 1 and $50,000 in Year 2) $5,000 annual CME $10,000 relocation assistance Benefits 5 weeks paid time off/CME 403(b) with 4% employer match Medical, dental, vision, life and malpractice insurance Childcare benefit with early drop-off and 10% tuition discount at Advantage Early Learning Academy PSLF-eligible employer Shift & Schedule Full Time 80% Clinical Practice / 20% Administrative Leadership Qualifications Candidate Type: MD, DO Medical Review Officer (MRO) certification preferred Willingness to obtain Medical Review Officer (MRO) certification required
