Commercial Hvac Technician
Our client is a leading provider of HVAC solutions for commercial clients in the Hampton, NJ area. We are committed to delivering high-quality service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join our growing team.
As a Commercial HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial properties. This role requires technical expertise, a commitment to safety, and a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and refrigeration units.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, providing efficient and effective solutions.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including maintenance logs and service reports.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain system issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in HVAC technology and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an HVAC Technician, with a focus on commercial systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing HVAC system components.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to HVAC systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- EPA Certification for handling refrigerants.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications preferred.
