The Registered Dental Hygienist supports a general dentistry practice by performing thorough patient assessments, dental cleanings, and X-ray imaging. This role focuses on promoting oral health through patient education, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring stringent infection control protocols. The hygienist manages a patient load of fewer than 10 per day, collaborating closely with the dental team to enhance patient care and treatment planning.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and dental cleanings
• Conduct dental X-ray imaging and process images
• Provide oral health education and promote preventive care
• Maintain accurate patient records and document treatments
• Ensure compliance with infection control procedures

Required Qualifications

• Registered Dental Hygienist License

• Entry-level experience in dental hygiene
• Associate degree in Dental Hygiene
