- Scrub/Charge Nurse/House Supervisor experience
- Familiarity with common cases such as Orthopedics, General, GYN, Robotic, and trauma
- Ability to float between campuses
Description:
Unit requires licensed surgical technologists, but an OR license is not necessary. The unit has 4 operating rooms and averages 15-20 cases per day. There is a mandatory call/standby requirement with a response time of 20-30 minutes. Weekend call is required every fourth weekend or more if desired. There will be a department-specific orientation lasting 2 days. Floating between campuses is expected. Scrub color/dress code will be provided. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts for a 13-week assignment. Shifts may be required on weekends and holidays. Experience in a variety of surgical specialties is important for this role. Candidates must be willing to work flexible hours.
