Compliance & Audit Manager, Global HR Systems (remote)

Compliance & Audit Manager overseeing HR Systems operational risk, audit planning, and control effectiveness across Stryker's global enterprise. Manages compliance processes, audit execution, remediation tracking, and partnerships with security and legal teams to ensure regulatory adherence and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Oversee audit planning, fieldwork, reporting, and remediation across HR Systems portfolio
• Document controls, map processes, and assess internal control effectiveness for audit readiness
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate compliance and operational risks; guide leadership on complex matters
• Partner with Cybersecurity, Legal, Data Privacy, and Information Security teams on audit and regulatory support
• Drive adoption and continuous improvement of Kainos SmartAudit platform for audit automation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 6+ years work experience in lieu of degree
• 8+ years professional work experience overall
• 5+ years compliance, audit, risk management, or internal controls experience
• 3+ years audit methodologies and regulatory compliance frameworks knowledge
• 3+ years supporting internal and external audits with testing and remediation
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving capabilities

Compensation: $118,000–$256,000 USD annual (based on pay band; actual range varies by location)
