What You'll Do

• Provide medical management for adult patients in an inpatient psychiatric unit
• Handle medical issues such as sore throats, rashes, medication consultations, and diabetic management
• Perform inpatient rounding and participate in consult services within a 20-bed unit
• Collaborate with social workers and nursing staff to support patient care
• Cover inpatient medical consultations beyond behavioral health
• Support the team during ED coverage and routine rounds
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and documentation standards

What You Need

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Massachusetts
• Experience in adult outpatient and inpatient settings (minimum required)
• Strong clinical skills in managing common acute and chronic conditions
• Ability to work full-time, on-site only; no telehealth options
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

About the Assignment: This role is based at a leading facility in Natick, MA, supporting inpatient psychiatric unit medical care. The NP will be responsible for treating general medical issues, performing rounds, and collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure patient well-being. Credentialing with medical staff takes approximately 90 days; all work is on-site only.
