Senior Service Technician

Core Responsibilities * System Lifecycle Management: Perform comprehensive installations, routine maintenance, and complex repairs on various types and sizes * Technical Diagnostics: Utilize schematics and advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot burner sequences and boiler logic * Mechanical Maintenance: Execute "Open, Clean, and Close" procedures; perform refractory repairs, tube cleaning, and gasket replacements * Safety & Compliance: Conduct rigorous inspections to ensure all systems meet local codes and manufacturer safety standards * Field Representation: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing technical explanations and exceptional customer service during field calls Technical Specialization: Combustion Controls A critical component of this role is the ability to program, troubleshoot, and commission leading flame safeguard and combustion management systems, specifically: * Fireye: Expertise in Linkageless systems, including wiring, sequence timing and flame signal analysis * Siemens: Proficiency with LMV series linkageless systems, including actuator adjustment and fuel-air ratio profiling * Honeywell: Experience with 7800 Series controls and ControLinks systems to optimize burner performance and safety Experience & Requirements * Professional Background: Proven experience in industrial boiler maintenance, HVAC/R, or a specialized mechanical field * Schematic Literacy: Ability to accurately read and interpret complex electrical ladders and piping diagrams * Operational Independence: Demonstrated ability to manage field service routes independently while maintaining high standards * Mechanical Aptitude: Strong hands-on knowledge of boiler installation, pumps, , piping, valves, motors, and steam accessories * Must have a valid driver's license Why work for Superior Central Boiler?
