Responsibilities Collect medical histories and prepare patients for examinations. Relay urgent requests and emergencies to the provider as appropriate. Collect, review, and address immunization status of new hire employees. Coordinate ordering of laboratory tests and immunizations when needed. Track compliance with initial and annual employee health requirements. Collect and record vital signs accurately. Immediately address emergency health risks with the provider. Assist the provider during examinations. Follow up on abnormal tuberculosis testing, including state filing when indicated. Assist with triage and monitoring employees who may have a contagious illness or exposure. Enter accurate data into contact tracing and medical data tracking systems. Assist with triage and monitoring of employees with work injuries, including case management. Assist with follow‑up of ambassadors who have experienced a bloodborne pathogen exposure. Assist with N95/KN95 mask fit testing and tracking. Maintain employee health documents in the appropriate systems. Assist with absence management for non‑work‐related conditions (short‑term disability, long‑term disability, FMLA, etc.). Perform phlebotomy and point‑of‑care diagnostic tests (rapid strep, urine dipsticks, etc.). Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and appropriate paperwork. Prepare medications, including intramuscular, intradermal, and subcutaneous injections and vaccinations. Transmit prescription refills as directed. Provide wound care and change dressings. Provide outstanding customer service and educate patients on disease processes, medications, and side effects. Adhere to HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality. Maintain accurate inventory of medical supplies, order as needed, and ensure proper storage and sterilization. Partner with providers, clients, and other departments to support immunization clinics, employee wellness programs, safety events, health and fitness fairs, and incentive programs. May perform general office administration tasks such as welcoming patients, answering phones and voicemails, scheduling appointments, handling confidential files, managing signage, and ensuring professional presentation. Qualifications Associate’s degree in nursing; bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. 3+ years of healthcare experience, including phlebotomy, point‑of‑care testing, and wound care. Current Registered Nurse certification and active license required. Phlebotomy certification required; CPR/BLS required. Occupational health certification preferred; prior occupational health experience strongly preferred. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems required. Desired Attributes Experience handling general office procedures and maintaining confidential files. Knowledge of medical terminology, basic lab interpretation, and nursing policies. Demonstrated ability in process improvement. Technical expertise with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Outstanding customer service and patient care focus. Effective liaison between patients and providers. Strong understanding of confidentiality and HIPAA ethics. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Team orientation, integrity, and commitment. Superior time‑management and multi‑tasking ability. Flexibility and adaptability to a fast‑paced environment. Proven record of collaborating with employees, stakeholders, clients, vendors, and guests. Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. High level of critical thinking and creative problem‑solving. Pay Range $72,000–$94,000per year (actual offer may vary by location, experience, and skill level).
