Job Details Location: Towers Nursing Home, Smithville, TX 78957. Position Type: Full Time. Education Level: High School. Travel Percentage: None. Shift: 6pm - 6am Shift. Job Category: Nurse. Primary Responsibilities The Certified Nurse Aide will provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident assessments and care plans. Essential Functions Assist residents in customary daily requirements and tasks including bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake of food, caring for hair and nails, moving residents from area to area, responding to calls. Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with resident care policy and procedure. Measure and record vital signs as assigned by Charge Nurse. Detect and report situations that may cause resident accidents or injuries. Contribute knowledge of resident’s conditions and needs to resident care plans. Observe and report symptoms, reactions, and changes in conditions to Charge Nurse. Qualifications Educational/Training Requirements High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Licensing Requirements Must hold a valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license. Experience Requirements Experience in a long‑term care facility is preferred. Must be at least 16 years of age. Physical Demands Physical demands include the ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and transfer items up to 50+ lbs; maintain standing, sitting, walking, driving, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, hearing, seeing, turning, twisting, and leaning; and communicate effectively.
