Registered Dietitian

Contract Type:  Travel Contract

Shift Type:  Day shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, may include weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert nutritional care to patients across telemetry, med/surg, general medical, and medical ICU units
• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on dietary needs and lifestyle modifications
• Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate documentation and order management
• Adhere to evidence-based practice and regulatory standards

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical knowledge in low to moderate acuity patient populations
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care

Requirements

• Minimum of one year experience as a Registered Dietitian (RD)
• Acute care hospital experience highly preferred
• Current Registered Dietitian (RG DIETCN) certification
• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
