Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide exceptional care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including pediatrics to geriatrics, with a primary focus on post-surgical and orthopedic cases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
• Implement effective therapeutic interventions to facilitate recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes and techniques.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Actively participate in monthly in-service meetings and mentoring programs.

Qualifications

• Current and active Physical Therapist license in the State of Nebraska.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, issued by the American Heart Association.
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy settings.
• Ability to transport oneself reliably for patient visits and work assignments.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Work Schedule

This position requires an 8-hour shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including a one-hour lunch break. Additionally, the Physical Therapist will be expected to work one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) every two months.

Orientation

Orientation is held every Wednesday and consists of three days of classroom training followed by one shift with a preceptor to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
