Shipping Manager / Shipping & Office Coordinator

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay: $25.00/hour

Schedule Flexibility: Hours may vary occasionally based on business needs.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Shipping Manager who is comfortable working in a computer-based environment and can effectively manage daily shipping operations while providing professional front-office support.

The ideal candidate will have strong Microsoft Office skills , experience working with all three major shipping carriers , and the ability to communicate professionally with customers, drivers, vendors, and internal team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities.
• Prepare and process shipments using UPS, FedEx, and USPS .
• Use Microsoft Office and other computer systems to maintain shipping records, correspondence, and documentation.
• Answer incoming phone calls professionally and courteously.
• Take accurate messages and forward calls to the appropriate person.
• Provide a brief notification or message to the recipient explaining who is calling and the reason for the call when possible.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, carriers, and internal departments regarding shipments and deliveries.
• Coordinate pickups, deliveries, and shipping schedules.
• Prepare shipping documentation, labels, and related paperwork.
• Monitor shipments and help resolve shipping or delivery issues.
• Maintain accurate records and organized files.
• Assist with general administrative duties as needed.
