Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Part-Time | Skilled Nursing Facility Location: The Gardens at Stevens – Stevens, PA Schedule: Part-Time (PRN option available) Make a Meaningful Impact Through Compassionate Care The Gardens at Stevens is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician looking for a flexible schedule while making a meaningful difference in the lives of residents recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, you'll help residents improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function, empowering them to achieve greater independence and a higher quality of life. What You'll Do Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments. Provide skilled speech-language pathology services to address speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders. Establish measurable short- and long-term treatment goals and modify plans based on resident progress. Educate residents, families, caregivers, and facility staff on therapeutic strategies to support continued progress. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver coordinated, resident-centered care. Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations. Participate in care planning meetings and contribute to positive rehabilitation outcomes. Qualifications Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the State of Pennsylvania. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship candidates may be considered. Skilled Nursing Facility experience is preferred but not required.
