Overview Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Travel) in Atlanta, GA. Start 07/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,644–$1,690 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 2x3 days. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adult surgical and trauma patients on a med-surg floor
• Perform ongoing assessments, monitor vital signs, and develop/adjust care plans per physician orders
• Administer prescribed medications and IV therapies; monitor for adverse reactions
• Document care in EPIC and coordinate nurse handoffs between ED and admitting units
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and utilize on-unit support staff (Nursing Support Techs, night unit secretary, phlebotomists) to deliver safe, efficient care
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition; escalate appropriately

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• EPIC experience required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a surgical/trauma med-surg specialty
• Ability to work on a high-acuity surgical/trauma unit
• Willingness to work the assigned shifts; no block scheduling
