Factory Test Equipment EngineerIn this role, you will have a direct impact on the development of our factory test equipment and contribute to the success of our Ring Laser Gyro and Inertial Measurement products. Your attention to detail and problem-solving abilities will be crucial in ensuring the successful completion of new equipment builds.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee project building and validation of Factory Test Equipment.Develop and manage project schedules.Establish new build processes for custom factory equipment.Apply technical troubleshooting skills and knowledge to Factory Test Equipment (FTE).Integration of test solution designs into working systems for the Factory.Interface with vendors and suppliers for BOM development and acquisition of parts for equipment builds.Generate engineering documents for the FTE – schematics, BOMs, assembly drawings, specifications, etc.You Must HaveBachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.6+ years of experience in hardware design and development.Experience with equipment testing and validation.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.We ValueTroubleshooting capability to isolate failure modes and implement solutions.Excellent computer literacy.Ability to focus on important information and identify key details.Capability of following guidelines and ensuring efficiency on given project tasks.Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize design of products, parts, systems or processes.Clear and concise communication and presentation skills.Ability to quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts.Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done and do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
