The Role We are seeking a distinguished Senior Attorney with 10+ years of family law experience to join our practice. This is a premier opportunity for a highly accomplished legal professional to lead complex matters, drive client relationships, and play a pivotal role in the continued growth of the firm. What You'll Do Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, legal separation, child custody and visitation, spousal and child support, property division, domestic violence restraining orders, and adoptions Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, declarations, and related legal documents Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy Appear at hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials Communicate with clients in a compassionate, professional manner Collaborate with partners and senior associates on strategy and case management Maintain accurate case records and timely billing entries Lead, mentor, and supervise associate attorneys What We're Looking For J.D. from an accredited law school Active California State Bar membership (or eligibility to waive in) 10+ years of family law experience Strong legal research and writing skills Excellent verbal communication and client-facing abilities Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities Empathy and professionalism when handling sensitive client matters Deep knowledge of California family law procedures, courts, and local rules required Proven track record of independently managing high-stakes, complex family law matters Strong leadership skills with experience supervising and mentoring attorneys and support staff What We Offer $200,000 - $400,000 annually, commensurate with experience and amount of hours billed Paid time off and firm holidays Mentorship from experienced family law practitioners CLE reimbursement and professional development support Clear pathway for career growth and advancement Harris Ginsberg LLP is an equal opportunity employer.
