CustodianWage/Hour Status: Non-ExemptReports to: Head CustodianPay Grade: 3Dept. /School: FacilitiesDays: 247Primary Purpose:To provide a safe, clean, attractive and efficiently maintained building for students, and teachers to learn and develop scholastically.Qualifications:To demonstrate the aptitude for successful fulfillment of assigned responsibilitiesExperience: NoneReports to: Head custodianMajor Responsibilities and Duties:Responsible for opening and/or closing the buildingResponsible for controlling the temperature in the buildingResponsible for the general cleanliness of all areas of the building NOT just assigned areasCleans classrooms and restrooms daily as assignedMakes minor building repairs as he/she is capable of doingKeeps grounds free of trashMoves furniture or equipment within the building as requiredAssist in the cleanup of cafeteria and kitchen dailyPerform other duties as assignedWorking Conditions:Mental Demands/ Physical Demands/ Environmental Factors: Maintain emotional control under stress.
