Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Summary:
Perform diagnostic radiographic and ultrasound procedures to assist in medical diagnosis under the supervision of a Radiologist and Department Director. Ensure accurate imaging while adhering to clinical standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Operate radiologic and ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Follow prescribed procedures and protocols for each imaging modality.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or issues promptly.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines related to ionizing radiation and ultrasound procedures.
• Document procedures accurately and complete all required patient records.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited high school or equivalent.
• Certified by the ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Licensed as a Technologist by the State of Montana and the Montana Board of Radiologic Technologists.
• Ultrasound experience required for this role.
• Demonstrate knowledge of age-specific patient care and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently with ingenuity and initiative.
