Under limited supervision and with minimal technical guidance, this position sets up and operates variety of machine tools and fits and assembles parts to fabricate or repair machine tools and maintain industrial machines by performing the following duties. Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!Location: Owatonna, MNShift: 2nd Shift - 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM, Monday - FridayWhat You Will Do:Observes and listens to operating machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunction and determine need for adjustment or repair. Dismantles machine or equipment to examine parts for defect or to remove defective part. Installs or replaces defective part in mechanisms, machines or equipment with new part or repairs or reproduces part from various kinds of metal stock.Test operates machine to verify dimensions and alignment of assembly, and conformance of finished work piece to specifications for verification of correction of malfunction.Develops specifications from general description and draws sketch of part or product to be fabricated. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.
