Registered Nurse
Location: Boston Medical Center - Boston, Brockton & Brighton
Schedule: Hiring for All Shifts
POSITION SUMMARY: As an RN in the Perioperative Services, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional care. Using our patient-centered care model you will be uplifted by a supportive nursing organization, and will be able to deliver the excellent care to your patients that they deserve.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver nursing care in the Perioperative Services unit, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients
- Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families
- Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
- Update and manage patient records
- Enter and interpret computerized data/information
- Follow guidelines and policies established by BMCs nursing organization
- Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous OR experience preferred
- 1+ years of RN experience preferred
- Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Certification in basic life support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) certification required in certain units
- Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred), Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years
- Relevant clinical experience and/or specialty, certification required for certain practice areas
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Physical ability to meet job responsibilities
- Basic computer proficiency
- Fluency in another language a plus

Compensation Range: $38.05- $75.33
This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
