ABOUT THE ROLE

We are a compassionate, client-centered home care agency committed to helping individuals live safely and comfortably in their own homes. We are currently seeking dedicated, certified Home Health Aides to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide essential personal care and support services to clients with a variety of needs — including elderly individuals, those recovering from illness or surgery, and clients managing chronic conditions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist clients with personal care activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting

• Help with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using safe handling techniques

• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed

• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and dish washing to maintain a safe environment

• Administer medications as directed per care plan (where permitted by state regulations)

• Monitor and record client vital signs, changes in condition, and overall well-being

• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote client dignity and quality of life

• Escort or transport clients to medical appointments, errands, or social activities

• Follow individualized care plans developed in coordination with the supervising nurse

• Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding any changes in client condition or safety concerns

• Maintain accurate daily documentation and activity logs

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) certification — required

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience (professional or personal) preferred

• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic approach to care

• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients (up to 50 lbs) using proper body mechanics

• Basic English reading and writing skills for documentation purposes
