Registered Nurse - Long Term Care

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Long Term Care team. This role involves performing assessments, administering treatments, and managing medications for patients. The candidate will also be responsible for notifying the attending physician or nurse practitioner of pertinent patient information, managing admissions and discharges, and providing assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). Other duties include gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulized treatments, wound vac care, CPAP care, tracheostomy care, and additional assigned responsibilities.

Schedule

This position requires flexibility with an 8-hour shift schedule that includes varied shifts, weekends, and holidays. The candidate must be prepared for a lack of guaranteed hours or shift preferences.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active State of Hawaii RN license must be obtained prior to the start of the assignment.
• Previous experience in long term care is preferred.
• Ability to perform assessments and manage complex patient care needs effectively.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
