Start your adventure with Bass Pro Shops, apply today!/ppLOCATION: Springfield, MO/ppEffective 6/28/26:/pulliStarting base pay will increase to $20/hour/lili1st and 2nd Shift Opportunities with the ability to earn up to $22.50/hour based on position/shift./li/ulpAll shifts will require mandatory overtime as needed/ppPOSITION SUMMARY:/ppThe DC Outfitter must have physical stamina and strength to be able to perform the various duties in the Distribution Center. Outfitter will be cross trained in other departments as needed and may be asked to carry out special projects./ppESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:/pulliRepetitive lifting up to 50 lbs./liliOutfitter will perform manual or physical job duties, based upon DC needs./liliLoads or unloads trailers by hand, i.e. up to and including, grills, tree stands, safes, kayaks, etc./liliUses scanners to read bar codes on labels and product./liliFills customer orders by inspecting merchandise and matching merchandise to order./liliStocks merchandise to ensure availability of items./liliPacks customer orders for shipment./liliSelects and verifies product for fulfillment and routes to the next area or packs for shipping./liliAssigns and reassigns pick locations based on information from reports and maintains an accurate listing of all locations./liliSorts merchandise as appropriate./liliProcesses, tickets, or sorts merchandise for retail locations./liliPerforms returns processing for customer orders./liliCleans and repairs different reel models and determines if repair is under warranty./liliMaintains work area by cleaning as needed./liliALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED/li/ulpEXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:/pulliMust be 18 years of age./li/ulpKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:/pulliProduction standards and accuracy are especially important aspects of the position that are closely monitored./liliAbility to communicate with fellow employees in a courteous and professional manner and be a team player./liliMust have multitasking skills/liliCommitment to safety rules and procedures/liliAvailability to work a flexible schedule with mandatory overtime, when scheduled./liliAbility to pay close attention to detail and must work well with numbers./liliGood verbal and written communication skills/li/ulpTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:/pulliNo travel is required for this position./li/ulpPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:/pulliMust be able to meet the physical demands of the job, i.e. repetitive walking, standing, kneeling, bending, stretching, and climbing up and down step ladder for duration of shift and overtime when scheduled./liliMust be able to repetitively lift, push, pull and carry 50 lbs. for duration of shift and overtime when scheduled./liliGood hand-eye coordination./li/ulpWORK ENVIRONMENT:/pulliRequired to work indoor in a non-climate-controlled environment./li/ulpINDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT :/pulliPerforms tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures.
