Low-cost Vision Insurance is also available!FREE Life Insurance$1,000 Sign-on Bonus!Increase at 3, 6, 9, 12 months and every 6 months followingOverview2nd shift (2:40pm-11:10pm)3rd shift (10:40pm-7:10am)Job SummaryThis individual will support Diversity-Vuteq Indiana on-site with all aspects of general maintenance.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform general repairs to plant facilities and equipmentPerforms clean up involving dust, dirt, grease, and oil around machinesAssist with plant startups and equipment preparation for productionInstallation of piping, tubing and fittings for compressed air and waterAssist trade persons with equipment relocations and installationsPerform seasonal duties outside of buildings such as snow removal around doorwaysComplete PM work orders of equipment to manufacturer’s recommendations or PM guide and provide feedback on activities and changes to improve the service or equipmentInspect and monitor cooling tower systems and advise if action requiredFabrication of mold, nesting, and minor fixturesFabrication of frames stands and work tables using Mig/Tig, Arc weldingAssist to troubleshoot pneumatic systems including valves, regulators, filters and actuatorsAssist to troubleshoot hydraulic systems including valves, pumps, filter/strainers, flow controlUnderstands and practices safe working proceduresUses personal protective equipment with lockout/isolation procedures as requiredUnderstands the specific environmental aspects and impact of maintenance duties and work toward reducing themUse of hands and power tools to expedite repairs, installation, and maintenance of plant equipmentUse of shop power machinery, lathes, milling machines, saws, drills and grindersPerform other maintenance related duties as assigned to meet departmental responsibilitiesJob QualificationsExperience1+ years’ experience with facility maintenance; includes Electrical and MechanicalKnowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, electrical, and roboticsWelding experience (Tig/Mig), pill pressPLC knowledge preferredSkills and AbilitiesAbility to manage time efficiently; repair in a timely fashion to minimize downtimeMust be mechanically inclined; able to troubleshoot problems, based on training and previous experiencePrioritization skills; ability to adapt to changing demands from leadership teamsAbility to show versatility and resourcefulness when problem solvingAbility to select and identify correct fasteners to install various materials and plant equipmentSolid interpersonal skills; able to communicate issues to maintenance team, process technicians, production, and to senior leadership teamsHigh attention to detail and accuracy; ensuring the job is done right the first time to minimize downtimeAbility organize tasks and demands efficientlyOtherHigh School Diploma or GED requiredValid driver’s license
