Be the Person Who Keeps the Office Running

Rachel Machin State Farm Agency is looking for an organized, dependable, and personable Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our customers and help keep our office running smoothly.

This role combines reception, customer service, administrative support, and light sales responsibilities . You'll welcome customers, manage incoming calls and office communications, handle important administrative tasks, and provide support to both our service and sales teams.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in being reliable, notices the details, and doesn't wait to be asked when something needs attention.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers professionally and create a welcoming first impression
• Answer incoming calls and direct customers to the appropriate team member
• Assist with scheduling, customer inquiries, and general office communication
• Receive, sort, prepare, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
• Scan, organize, file, and maintain customer and office documents
• Accept and accurately process customer payments and other money-handling responsibilities
• Maintain accurate customer records and document interactions
• Help keep common areas and the overall office organized and professional
• Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, follow-up, and projects as needed
• Identify customer needs and opportunities for additional insurance products
• Make appropriate referrals to licensed sales team members and participate in cross-selling when appropriate
• Follow up with customers and help ensure their needs are fully addressed

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary plus commission and performance bonuses

Licensing & Growth

You must be willing to obtain applicable Florida insurance licenses, including:

• Florida 4-40 or 20-44
• Florida 2-15

Existing insurance experience or licenses are welcome but not required.

Compensation: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
