Your top priority is to create a safe and welcoming environment. You will be caring for the residents in a variety of ways primarily with daily living such as dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, colostomy care, transferring, walking, prosthetic appliances, positioning, and range of motion exercises. You are dedicated to serving those entrusted to us with dignity, respect, and compassion. You strive to provide extraordinary care while creating moments of joy and a sense of belonging. Your positive attitude allows you to have an amazing interaction with each patient you interact with. You do everything you can to preserve their dignity, as you provide the individualized care that they need.Your attention to detail allows you to keep accurate records as required. You maintain a calm and patient demeanor while treating patients. You are vigilant about reporting any changes in the condition of residents to the supervising nurse to ensure that all medical needs are properly met. You also assist with specific tasks under the supervision of the nurse such as recording vital signs and weights, applying non-prescription creams/ointments, and collecting specimens.
