Business Insights Analyst – Embedded Banking Oversight
Location: Boston, MA / Johnston, RI / New York, NY Contract: 6 Months Start Date: 09/21/2026 End Date: 03/19/2027 Work Arrangement: Onsite
Job Summary: Seeking an Oversight Analyst to support Embedded Banking and oversee third-party deposit/payment partners. The role focuses on risk, compliance, AML, fraud, KYC, sanctions, payments, and third-party oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform third-party risk and compliance reviews.
- Monitor AML/BSA, OFAC, fraud, sanctions, adverse media, and unusual activity.
- Conduct KYC/CDD testing and review customer onboarding files.
- Analyze RDI, ACH, FedWire, RTP, and payment activity.
- Identify, document, and escalate risks and control gaps.
- Prepare risk reports, management summaries, and audit documentation.
- Support audits, regulatory examinations, remediation, and partner assessments.
Required Skills:
- 2–5 years of experience in Risk, Compliance, AML, Fraud, Payment Operations, or Third-Party Risk.
- Strong risk analysis, investigation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with KYC/CDD, AML/BSA, OFAC, and sanctions.
- Knowledge of payments, ACH, and banking operations.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Accounting, Criminal Justice, or related field.
Preferred Skills:
- Fintech / Embedded Banking / Payments experience.
- NACHA knowledge.
- Experience with regulatory audits, examinations, and issue remediation.
Ideal Candidate: Risk/Compliance/AML Analyst with banking, fintech, payments, or third-party partner oversight experience.
