As a Barista at Luckin Coffee, you'll be the face of our fast-growing U.S. stores, bringing our core values to life with every cup you serve. You'll put Customer First by delivering fast, friendly, and accurate service during every interaction, and act with Integrity in how you handle cash, follow food safety standards, and treat your teammates. You'll bring Craftsmanship to your work, preparing each beverage with precision and consistency using our recipes and equipment, and stay open to Innovation as we roll out new products, tools, and store formats. You'll practice Cooperation, working closely with your store team to keep shifts running smoothly, especially during rush periods, and take Ownership of your station, your growth, and the experience you create for every customer who walks through our doors. No prior barista experience is required. We will provide full training. All you need is a positive attitude, reliability, and alignment with our core values!

Key Responsibilities: Training & Onboarding

• Participate in a structured learning program and obtain the required Luckin Standard Operation (LSO) Certificates within 45 days of your onboarding date.

Core Operational Functions Learn and practice key operational functions, including:

• Prepare beverages and food with consistency and care using smart equipment.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Greet and serve customers with a welcoming attitude, ensuring each guest feels welcomed.
• Support your team in creating a smooth, efficient, and positive atmosphere.

Performance & KPI Tracking Learn to use systems to track KPIs such as:

• Raw Material Loss Rate. • Hourly Cup Volume & Average Production Time.
• Store Food Safety Audit Score & Microbial Inspection Compliance.
• Customer Satisfaction via App and In-Store Feedback.
• Operational Notice Completion Rate.

Compliance & Audits:

• Practice compliance checks and participate in daily audits covering safety, labor, and food handling laws.

Customer Experience & Brand Stewardship:

• Learn and model Luckin Coffee's hospitality principles to create a seamless and high-quality customer experience.
• Respond to customer feedback, practice service recovery techniques, and learn how to handle customer issues or emotions, gradually developing skills in handling customer complaints.
• Monitor beverage and food preparation for consistency and adherence to brand standards.
• Assist in cultivating a customer-centered store environment by anticipating customer needs and providing high-quality service.
• Learn customer satisfaction management and support achieving satisfaction standards.

Certification Requirements:

• You must complete the full curriculum and pass all training checkpoints within 45 days.
• You must complete and obtain the LSO 100% 200 Certificates within 45 days of your onboarding date.

Failure to complete any of the certifications within this timeframe may result in re-evaluation and/or termination of your employment.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• No prior experience is required. Full training is provided.
• Must meet the minimum age requirement under applicable state law.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to push or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to lift and hold up to 25 lbs.
