VOAC recognizes the unique needs of the older adult who needs a wheelchair ramp to stay at home safely, and the preschooler whose family needs additional resources. VOAC supports veteran's efforts to exit homelessness as well as provides a safe place for survivors of domestic violence. Wherever VOAC goes, it combines relationship-building, volunteers, and quality services to lift and support our neighbor's efforts to become self-sufficient and reach their full potential.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Process applications by conducting applicant interviews, obtaining 3rd verifications as necessary, calculating income/assets/medical expenses and entering data into the property management software. Confirm that software calculated rent is accurate.
• Execute applicant lease documents in accordance with Volunteers of America policy and procedure.
• Assists in processing recertification's and interim- recertification's.
• Assists in collection and posting of resident rents and utilities. Deliver rent delinquency notices.
• Maintains applicant waitlist and resident files in accordance with program regulations. Conducts semi-annual waitlist updates.
• Assist in compiling program required documents for annual financial audit.
• Monitoring the property and resolve minor issues and escalate more serious issues in the absence of the Community Administrator.
• Collaborates with Service Coordinators to enhance resident quality of life.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent and one-year administrative/clerical office experience.
• Knowledge of computer operations to include basic data entry.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and maintain good relations with residents and employees.
• Basic math aptitude
