Full-time Surgical Dental Assistant needed in Poway, CA starting at $25/hr with medical and 401(k). Position Summary Alireza Khansari, DDS, MSD, Inc. (Poway Periodontics) is hiring a full-time Surgical / Dental Assistant for our specialized practice in Poway, CA. The role offers a competitive starting hourly wage of $25.00/hr based on candidate experience. Prerequisites and Clinical Duties Candidates must possess an active California Dental Assistant or RDA license alongside a valid Dental X-Ray certification. Core duties include chairside assistance during oral surgery and periodontal procedures, exposing digital radiographs, managing room setups, and enforcing strict infection control. Requirements License & Certification: Driver’s license, X-ray / Radiography Certification Years of Professional Experience: Experienced Dental assistant with 1+ years of practice Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical dental assisting experience is preferred. Certifications: Must possess an active California Dental Assistant or credential along with a valid X-Ray Certification. Additional duties involve exposing digital X-rays, preparing operatories, sterilizing instruments, and providing post-procedure patient education. Work Schedule This position offers a stable full-time routine following standard office operating hours. Qualified candidates must hold valid California Dental Assistant credentials, active X-ray certification, and a commitment to surgical excellence.
