We’re looking for a reliable, friendly, hardworking Cashier / Front Counter Team Member to join a busy locally owned sandwich shop in Asheville.
This is not a position where you’ll only stand at a register. We need someone who enjoys working with customers and is willing to jump in wherever needed to keep the restaurant clean, stocked, organized, and running smoothly.
Schedule
Monday–Friday: 12:00 PM–3:00 PM
Applicants must be able to consistently work this schedule.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service
- Operate the POS/register and accurately handle transactions
- Answer phones and assist customers with orders
- Bag and organize pickup and delivery orders
- Restock the front counter, beverage station, chips, condiments, and supplies
- Assist with basic food preparation
- Drop and prepare bacon as needed
- Wash dishes
- Keep the dining room and customer areas clean
- Sweep, mop, wipe tables, and assist with restroom cleaning
- Refill backup condiments and other supplies
- Help the team during busy periods
- Complete other cleaning, stocking, and restaurant tasks as assigned

- Strong attention to detail
- Willing to clean and stay productive during slower periods
- Able to work well with a small team
- Good communication skills
- Restaurant, cashier, deli, or food-service experience preferred
We are looking for someone who wants a steady position and takes pride in being part of a team.
Immediate opening. We are looking to begin training as soon as the right candidate is selected.
