Pay Rate: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Shift:

• 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience with computer-aided design, digital imaging, or print production workflows preferred.
• Strong computer literacy and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to analyze technical information and troubleshoot layout or file issues.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Digital prepress or production workflow knowledge.
• Basic CAD or layout software familiarity preferred.
• Quality inspection and proofing practices.
• Logical reasoning and analytical thinking.
• Team collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to evolving production technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Review work orders and develop or modify CAD layouts according to customer specifications.
• Prepare files for production by applying masking, color bars, tick marks, and plate identification details.
• Verify accuracy of artwork, layout data, and file formatting prior to plate production.
• Launch digital plate files to imaging equipment and monitor exposure processe s.
• Analyze work orders to determine appropriate press configuration and layout requirements.
• Enter, store, and retrieve data using computer-aided production systems.
• Inspect photographic and digital images for imperfections before plate output.
• Validate layout proofs and combs against production specifications.
• Perform updates, corrections, and revisions to completed plate files as needed.
• Maintain organized digital archives and completed work orders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve layout or production challenges.
