Supervisor, Supply Planning

Job Purpose Our Supply Planning Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing 20 Supply Planning Coordinators. They will perform performance management and development of the team, and manage the planning and execution of our inventory strategy for a high‑volume, complex set of items, categories, and suppliers. This position will influence and drive inventory performance to support business targets for Fill Rate and Days Inventory on Hand (DIOH). They will manage replenishment strategies and planning parameters within the Oracle system (EVO) to optimize inventory performance, monitor and update the replenishment forecast to account for short‑term changes in demand, and determine purchase order quantities in the Buyer Workbench (BWB). Job Responsibilities Serve as a subject‑matter expert and mentor for the team and may back‑up the manager in their absence. Perform daily inventory replenishment reviews to monitor exceptions and recommend purchase requisitions in Oracle System (EVO) and the Buyer Workbench. Manage replenishment policy and parameter settings within EVO, including lead time, minimum order quantities, product segmentation, etc. Monitor forecast and projected inventory levels to minimize shortages and surplus while ensuring forecast accuracy. Leverage EVO reporting and analytics to make proactive strategic replenishment decisions. Coordinate with demand planners on inventory placement for marketing initiatives in collaboration with Regional Sales Leader, the Supply Planning team, and Category Management. Resolve complex issues escalated by Supply Coordinators, such as following up on purchase orders, expediting them, or resolving purchase order and invoice discrepancies. Consistently monitor supplier performance; conduct supplier reviews driving metric improvements (LOTC, Lead Time, supplier forecasts, etc.) toward resolution of issues and optimization of supplier performance. Actively participate and manage projects outside normal purchasing responsibilities, such as shuttle reduction, ABC classification, NetOps consolidation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Work with the sourcing team to drive supplier minimum reductions and service improvements through forecast collaboration. Collaborate with Customer Dedicated Inventory, Sales Reps, and Category Management teams to influence and advise stocking strategies, trends, and performance. Accurately and concisely communicate updates to the organization at all levels, keeping the organization abreast of requests, questions, and concerns; proactively take initiative on emerging issues. Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications Management or leadership experience preferred. Demonstrated strategic mindset able to balance multiple objectives and resolve complex business problems. Ability to develop and maintain effective, positive working relationships with a diverse group of individuals; excellent relationship‑building and management skills. Adaptability to new technology and business changes; strong prioritization, organization, and multitasking in a fast‑paced environment. Unwavering sense of urgency to respond to inquiries and serve internal and external customers. Expert understanding of inventory replenishment best practices. Expert technical and analytical skills, including statistical and mathematical modeling, issue research and resolution, with excellent attention to detail. Work Experience 5‑10 years of related job experience. Ability to work quickly and efficiently. Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills required. Experience interpreting strategy and policy to set and deliver objectives. Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Replenishment Planning preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous, and helpful). Strong planning and organization skills required. Education Bachelor's Degree preferred.
